Mentor, investor, company adviser, aspiring surfer dude
A proven entrepreneur, Wayne Morris has more than 30 years of experience in executive management, strategy, marketing, sales and technical roles in software, services and hardware companies.
Most recently he was Skytap’s Chief Marketing Officer, where he led all aspects of marketing including corporate, digital, field and partner marketing. Prior to Skytap, Wayne was the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) marketing at Microsoft Corp, where he helped to elevate the CRM and ERP offerings and significantly increase revenues.
Before joining Microsoft, Wayne co-founded and was CEO and a board member of myDIALS, a SaaS start-up that delivers business intelligence providing real-time insight directly to operational decision makers, where he created the company vision, formed successful partnerships with other software companies and successfully negotiated the acquisition of the company by Adaptive Insights, a complementary SaaS vendor to ensure higher growth. He has also held executive leadership positions at global organizations such as McData Corporation, Citect Corporation (ASX), BMC Software, Enterprise Software Corp. and HP.
Wayne volunteers as a mentor for military veterans who are transitioning into the commercial world. He has a Bachelor of Science with a major in Computer Science from University of Queensland, Australia.
